Payroll Officer (Part-time - Thursdays only)
Payroll Officer needed for 1 day per week in Mount Druitt to manage the payroll of roughly 100 staff.
Job Responsibilities:
- Efficiently oversee weekly, bi-weekly, and monthly payroll cycles.
- Collect data from the Time Management System and Timesheets, and process it through MYOB Premier/ADP Portal.
- Maintain accurate employee information across various systems.
- Create summaries of earnings, deductions, bonuses, and leave entitlements.
- Manage commission calculations and disbursements for sales employees.
- Ensure precise calculations for taxes and Superannuation.
- Administer workers' compensation payments.
- Provide net pay details to the Financial Controller for bank transfers.
- Distribute post-payment pay advice to employees.
- Resolve and troubleshoot any discrepancies in payroll.
- Follow all established payroll protocols and procedures.
- Keep thorough employee records updated in HR systems.
- Generate regular and spontaneous payroll reports for Senior Management.
- Preferred qualification in finance/economics
- A minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Proficiency in MYOB Premier, Time Management Systems, & ADP system.
- Strong aptitude for mathematics and excellent organizational abilities.
- Exceptional attention to detail and effective communication skills.
- Must maintain the highest levels of confidentiality and professionalism.
