About Us
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Youth Worker to support student wellbeing, attendance, and engagement by working closely with students, families, staff, and external agencies.
Key Responsibilities:
* Establish strong relationships with students, families, staff, and external support agencies.
* Maintain accurate records of student attendance and implement intervention strategies to address early signs of disengagement.
* Provide support to students at risk of leaving school early through practical assistance, guidance, and referrals.
* Develop and deliver programs that enhance students' social skills, self-esteem, and resilience.
* Conduct home visits to strengthen school-home connections and support families in need.
About You
* Prior experience working with adolescents facing social, emotional, or behavioural challenges is highly desirable.
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills are required to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
* Able to identify and address early signs of disengagement in students.
* Proficient in maintaining accurate records and managing data.
* Flexibility, resilience, and adaptability in a dynamic school environment are essential.
