JSTEL PTY LTD is seeking a qualified and motivated Telecommunications Technician to join our growing team. We deliver a wide range of high-quality telecommunications solutions and are looking for a professional who is reliable, safety-conscious, and committed to excellence.
Key Responsibilities
* Install, maintain, and repair telecommunications services and equipment.
* Work with copper, fibre optic, and wireless networks.
* Conduct testing, diagnostics, and fault-finding on network systems.
* Configure and commission telecommunications hardware and software.
* Prepare and maintain accurate service reports, logs, and documentation.
* Ensure all work complies with WHS and industry regulations.
* Provide technical advice and support to clients and team members.
Qualifications & Skills
* Certificate III/IV or higher in Telecommunications, Electronics, or related discipline.
* Demonstrated experience in telecommunications installation and maintenance.
* Strong knowledge of fibre splicing, copper cabling, and network testing.
* Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
* White Card and current driver's licence essential.
* Excellent communication, teamwork, and problem-solving abilities.
