Oceania Export Manager (OSRO, Australia)
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced OSRO Oceania Export Manager to join our dynamic team in Melbourne, Australia. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in leading the Backhaul Pricing, Cargo Flow, and Commercial together with local sales to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
Key Responsibilities:
Developing regional commercial strategies for AU and Recent Zealand exports
Engagement with key customers, freight forwarders, and cargo owners
Develop and cascade annual sales and revenue plans to Agencies, aligned with corporate targets
Monitor market trends, competitor pricing, and service offerings
Drive Agencies in contract negotiations, tenders, and long-term partnerships
Collaborate closely with Singapore trade, Logistics and OPPC teams
Identify opportunities for volume growth and service optimization
Management of regional key accounts
MUST HAVE:
Degree in Business, Economics, Finance, Maritime or related discipline with minimum 10 years of relevant shipping experience.
Work background with commercial, trade, or sales focus
Proven success in revenue generation and customer development
Strong understanding of liner shipping, freight markets, and Australia–Asia trade
Excellent communication, negotiation, and stakeholder management skills
Willing to travel frequently when required
