The Team

This role provides opportunity to increase the capacity of our service to respond to family and sexual violence. The Regional Family and Sexual Violence Liaison officer will be part of a supportive team operating statewide. A key goal is building and maintaining key relationships across government and non-government agencies aimed at improving the outcomes for people experiencing family and sexual violence.

The Role

An exciting opportunity to use your expertise in the Family and Sexual Violence field. This role aims to increase the capability of staff across Child Safety Services to respond to Family and Sexual Violence.

You will need:

* Demonstrated experience in a clinical area directly applicable to family and/or sexual violence, including a comprehensive understanding of family and sexual violence, and demonstrated experience in the clinical and/or therapeutic management of clients with complex care needs.
* Ability to demonstrate leadership and self-management skills, in complex decision-making including knowledge and application of relevant legislation pertinent to the position.
* Demonstrate a high level of communication, negotiation, advocacy, conflict resolution and interpersonal skills with the ability to conduct and evaluate the delivery of educational presentations.

Details of appointment

Permanent part time, day worker position, working 60.8 hours per fortnight, commencing as soon as possible. Notwithstanding hours to be negotiated with the successful applicant.

Applicants should note that, for a period of twelve months from the date of publication, this selection process may be used to fill subsequent or similar full time, part time, and casual vacancies.

Salary

$110,425 to $121,907 per annum (Pro-rata). Our Employer 12% superannuation contribution is on top of this amount.

Salary range is in accordance with Allied Health Professionals Public Sector Unions Wages Agreement No. 2 of 2022.

Salary Packaging

You'll have access to salary package a range of benefits including living expenses up to $9,010 + $2,650 in meal entertainment each FBT year + other benefits if eligible.

Allowances

* Please note that access to salaries beyond $119,290 is subject to qualifications and/or application to the personal upgrade scheme.
* Professional Development Allowance of up to $1000 per annum

Eligibility

Successful applicants will be required to meet the essential criteria.

* Satisfactory completion of an appropriate allied health professional course of study at a recognised tertiary institution and registered with the relevant Board or, in the case of self-regulated professions, eligible for membership of the relevant professional association.
* Current Working with Vulnerable People Registration.
