What We’re Looking For:
- Enjoy having variety in your day
- Passionate about providing an excellent service
- Can build positive relationships with clients and their families
- Care about assisting our aged community members to live independently at home for longer
- Don’t sweat the small stuff. Sometimes your client will be having a bad day or traffic delays you, but you know not to take this personally and can shake it off before your next client
- Are comfortable working independently and finding solutions to everyday problems, knowing when to ask your manager for help
- A valid Australian Driver\'s Licence & your own insured, roadworthy vehicle
- An interest in community care or aged care (experience preferred but not essential)
Role: In the role of Home Care Worker you will be providing our aged care clients with home help services, such as:
- General housekeeping and making beds
- Cleaning, mopping and vacuuming floors
- Washing, folding and ironing laundry
- Meal preparation and grocery shopping
- Providing social support and transport to lifestyle activities
- Helping the family carer to have a break or an opportunity to do other things
