Your opportunity
This role sits within the Customer & People Experience Finance Business Partnering team and reports to the Senior Finance Manager. It works closely with key stakeholders in the Sales & Distribution team to provide commercial insights and guidance across commission structures, distribution channels, and the Retail division's operating expenditure and dealer commissions. The role involves business casing, decision support, performance reporting, budgeting, and forecasting. It offers an excellent opportunity to develop your finance business partnering skills, with mentoring and exposure to strategic decision-making.

Responsibilities include
Commission Scheme Analysis & Design:
Evaluating existing schemes and developing new proposals that reward value and service.
Commission Trend Monitoring:
Tracking transactions to ensure alignment with budgets and early trend identification.
Accounting & Compliance:
Understanding IFRS standards and ensuring compliance.
Sales Channel Optimisation:
Partnering with sales teams to assess and optimize distribution points.
Commission Approvals:
Reviewing and approving commission payments.
Incentive Management:
Designing special incentives for strategic focus areas.
Sales Quality & Insights:
Monitoring sales and recommending improvements.
Retail Workforce Planning:
Using data insights for workforce planning.
Capex Business Casing:
Developing and monitoring capital expenditure business cases.
Reporting & Forecasting:
Preparing reports, supporting budgets, and forecasts.
Qualifications
Proven ability to deliver high-quality, insightful outputs.
Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills.
Strong commercial acumen.
Minimum 5 years of finance experience, preferably in business partnering or commercial finance.
CPA, CIMA, CA, or equivalent qualification.
Continuous improvement mindset and a passion for innovation.
