Wellness Specialist Role
This role involves delivering high-quality wellness services to individuals. The successful candidate will empower and support residents to engage in meaningful activities, maximise and improve their health, wellness and quality of life.
Key Responsibilities:
* Deliver wellness services and activities that align with the organisation's model.
* Empower and enable individuals to take informed risks to live the life they choose.
* Contribute to early intervention programs to develop recovery plans addressing lifestyle and wellness decline.
* Listen to individuals to ensure they are satisfied with the wellness services and support available.
Requirements:
* Certificate IV in Leisure and Lifestyle or Leisure and Health.
* Sound understanding of requirements to support individuals in care environments living with dementia.
* Exceptional communication, organisational and relationship-building skills.
* Sound problem-solving skills assessing balancing individual's desire for independence against potential risks and duty of care.
