In this leadership role, you will support the F&B; Manager in overseeing daily operations, ensuring a seamless and memorable dining experience for every guest, and inspiring your team to deliver service excellence.
Main Duties
- Assist in managing the day-to-day operations of the restaurant, ensuring smooth service and high standards.
- Lead, motivate, and support the F&B; team to deliver exceptional guest experiences.
- Oversee reservations, guest seating, and service flow to optimise dining room efficiency.
- Handle guest inquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional, solution-focused manner.
- Monitor and maintain presentation standards of the restaurant, ensuring all areas are clean, welcoming, and aligned with brand expectations.
- Assist with staff scheduling, training, and performance feedback to support team development.
- Collaborate with the kitchen and bar teams to ensure consistent communication and smooth operations.
- Support stock control, ordering, and inventory management in line with operational needs.
- Ensure compliance with all health, safety, and hygiene regulations.
Key Requirements
- Previous experience in a supervisory or assistant management role within a restaurant or hotel environment.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities, both written and verbal.
- Organised, proactive, and confident in handling multiple priorities in a quick-paced setting.
- A genuine passion for hospitality and delivering memorable guest experiences.
- Understanding of rostering, stock management, and basic administrative tasks.
- Knowledge of POS systems and familiarity with hotel F&B; operations is an advantage.
