Your new role
Your role - Senior Buyer would be for Johnson Control's diverse portfolio and, in particular, for industrial refrigeration.
* You will act as an SME in procurement and coach junior buyers.
* Issue and manage the RFQ process in line with JCI, and its customer requirements, and identify and recommend the best source consistent with cost, quality and delivery requirements.
* Negotiate and manage long-term pricing agreements on critical Security System, HVAC, Refrigeration and BMS subcontractor works
* Set operational objectives and deliver results that have a direct to significant impact on achievement of results within the job area or within the context of a wider operational area.
* Act as a liaison between suppliers and departments to resolve procurement-related issues.
* Review and evaluate RFQ responses for compliance with JCI requirements.
What you'll need to succeed
To be successful, you will come with a minimum of 3-5 years of in-depth end-to-end procurement experience.
You will bring a well-developed understanding of buying, sourcing, negotiation and supplier management as well as proven experience and ability to work in a multinational environment.
Working within a Technology, Construction or FM environment would be beneficial.
