As Business Analyst, reporting to the IT Program Manager, the role is responsible for supporting the new ERP/Finance system relative to identifying business needs, analysing processes and systems and translating requirements into clear, actionable documentation to support effective solution delivery of a replacement system. The role is West Perth office based and you will be the key liaison between business stakeholders, delivery teams and third party providers to ensure solutions align with strategic objectives and deliver measurable value.
What You'll Do:
* Elicit, analyse, validate, and document business and functional requirements using appropriate techniques (e.g. workshops, interviews, process mapping).
* Collaborate with stakeholders to understand business objectives, challenges, and opportunities.
* Translate business needs into clear requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, and process models.
* Support solution design by working closely with project teams, business owners, architects, third party providers, developers, and testers.
* Support vendor selection processes including analysis and comparison of potential solutions.
* Ensure requirements are traceable throughout the delivery lifecycle.
* Assist with impact analysis, change management, and business readiness activities.
* Support testing activities, including UAT planning, defect triage, and validation against requirements.
* Contribute to continuous improvement of BA standards, templates, and practices.
* Communicate effectively with both technical and non‐technical stakeholders.
About You:
* Proven experience as a Business Analyst in a project, program, or product environment.
* Strong understanding of the Finance function in a mid-tier organisation and the systems and processes that support that function.
* Strong elicitation and documentation skills.
* Experience with process modelling and analysis techniques.
* Ability to translate complex business needs into clear, structured artefacts.
* Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
* Analytical mindset with strong problem-solving capabilities.
* Proven experience in a successful ERP/Finance upgrade/implementation project.
* You will be required to obtain or provide a National Police Clearance no older than 3 months as part of the recruitment process.
