The Opportunity
* We are seeking a Principal Civil Engineer – Water Pipelines to join us. Located in any of our Australian offices, you will be part of our national water business.
* As a seasoned civil engineer, you will have expertise in various aspects of civil engineering, including study involvement, budget, schedule, and scope development, detailed design, analysis, construction/commissioning phase support, and troubleshooting of mechanical systems.
* You will also have experience in the scoping and development of engineering work packages, including time-based estimates for deliverables.
* Additionally, you will have a strong understanding of industry standards and best practices, with a focus on providing solutions and services to clients both on- and off-site.

About You
* As a Chartered Professional Engineer, you will have a bachelor's degree in civil engineering and a strong understanding of water/wastewater industry standards and best practices.
* You will be highly organized, with outstanding technical and communication skills, able to lead and mentor a team and drive successful project outcomes for our clients.
* Other requirements include:
o Expertise in various aspects of civil engineering.
o Experience in scoping and developing engineering work packages.
o Able to understand client expectations and ensure that services meet those expectations.
o Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
