Job Description
Reporting to the Payroll Manager, your role will include:
* Accurately process fortnightly payroll within required time-frames (Chris 21)
* Maintain and update employee records, ensuring all changes are properly authorised and documented.
* Complete end-of-month payroll processing, reporting, and reconciliations.
* Respond to payroll-related enquiries and prepare correspondence in line with policies and legislation.
* Manage payroll system data for new hires, changes, and terminations.
* Administer the payroll kiosk system, including leave applications and related data.
* Liaise with the salary packaging provider to support employee benefits.
* Process invoices and client expenditure reimbursements in a timely manner.
* Support the Finance team with administrative tasks and continuous improvement initiatives.
The Successful Applicant
* Excellent communication skills with the ability to explain complex information clearly.
* Strong understanding of employment legislation (e.g. PAYG, Superannuation, Fair Work Act).
* High level of computer literacy, particularly in MS Word, Excel, and payroll systems.
* Strong attention to detail, confidentiality, and accountability.
