About the opportunity
The School of Biomedical Engineering at The University of Sydney invites applications for several academic positions at all levels with demonstrable strong research experience in, but not limited to, the following areas:

- AI for Health Monitoring and Treatment
- Tissue Engineering and Biomaterials
- Bioelectronic Medicine and Neural Engineering
- Engineering Solutions for Discovery Medicine
- Translational Medical Imaging

- Point-of-Care Diagnostics and Treatment

All positions are full-time, continuing (tenure-track), teaching and research roles based in Sydney.

The School of Biomedical Engineering is seeking Academics of all levels who can demonstrate:
- A PhD in a relevant field such as Biomedical Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Material Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Medical Science and Biology.
- A robust track record in biomedical engineering involving leveraging advanced science and technologies to enhance various aspects of healthcare.
- A strong research track record (or for junior applicants demonstrating potential) for publishing high quality papers and securing fundings.
- Ability to teach, engage, and support the learning of students using innovative and modern pedagogies.
- Outstanding communication skills and collegiality.
- High-level problem-solving skills with the ability to address complex issues as they arise.
