Our client is a Tier 1 resources organisation delivering sustaining capital works across two operating facilities in Gladstone. About the Role:
This sitebased position provides construction supervision, coordination and compliance oversight across two operating facilities (QAL and BSL), ensuring project works are delivered safely, efficiently and in accordance with sustaining capital priorities. The successful candidate will be responsible for supervising civil, earthworks and construction activities onsite while supporting forward planning, contractor management, documentation review and the consistent application of governance and safety standards. This is a fastpaced role requiring strong communication, disciplined organisation and the ability to manage multiple work fronts simultaneously. The position also provides leadership exposure within a Tier 1 mining environment and the opportunity to work on complex, technically challenging projects with longterm development potential.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Support Sustaining Capital Projects leadership in promoting a high-performance culture across both sites.
2. Supervise civil, earthworks and construction activities to ensure safe, efficient and quality-aligned delivery.
3. Promote teamwork, clear communication and collaboration to optimise project outcomes.
4. Produce accurate daily supervisor reports and maintain required documentation.
5. Provide technical input and operational support to project stakeholders.
6. Review and interpret permits, plans, drawings and technical construction documentation.
7. Coordinate and manage a dynamic workload across two operating facilities.
8. Build and maintain strong internal stakeholder relationships across operations and support teams.
