Position
Radiation Therapist responsible for performing simulations, designing and optimising high-quality treatment plans, and ensuring accurate delivery of Radiation Therapy based on the Radiation Oncologist’s prescription. Provide patient-centred care, educate patients throughout their treatment journey, and maintain detailed and accurate records. Contribute to quality improvement initiatives, participate in multidisciplinary team meetings, and uphold the highest standards of radiation safety for patients, staff and visitors. The successful candidate will be dynamic, innovative, and enthusiastic, with a passion for delivering exceptional patient care.
About ISLHD
Wollongong Hospital, located on Dharawal Country, is Illawarra Shoalhaven’s major referral and teaching hospital with a bed-base count of more than 500. The campus includes the Illawarra Regional Cancer Care Centre and offers inpatient, outpatient and community-based services.

Requirements / Qualifications
Essential requirements for the role include:
• Applicable vaccination requirements for a Category A role
• Current AHPRA Registration as a Radiation Therapist
• Radiation Control Licence (NSW EPA)
