About the Role
Reporting to the National Service Manager, your role will be to provide engineering service and support to a diverse customer base.
Work is performed both in the office and on site.
Responsibilities
Provide engineering Service and Support to diversified Customer base and Project delivery team.
Carry out regular Maintenance Service tasks, Breakdown Service and Commissioning as assigned by the Service Manager.
Work on smaller Projects as Control Systems engineer, including design (software & hardware), development, commissioning and verification & validation activities as directed by the project manager and/or lead engineer.
Learn through working as a Service engineer the diversity of the engineering that the business provides.
Provide IT services to the company including but not limited to configuration of networks, servers, desktops and workstation solutions to meet the needs of our projects and company.
Participate in the rotational on call roster.
Qualifications
Tertiary qualification in Electrical / Electronic or a related discipline or related trade background.
Australian Driver's License and own motor vehicle.
Must have the right to work in Australia.
Required Skills
Experience in designing, developing and diagnosing PLC, RTU, HMI, SCADA and network systems.
Ability to interpret control system design documentation.
Self-Starter, committed to providing great customer service.
Ability to manage competing tasks and priorities.
Sound verbal and written communication.
Systematic approach to problem solving.
Build and maintain effective relationships with managers, staff, and clients.
Preferred Skills
Electrical Licence.
Network Licences.
