The Senior Structural/Civil Engineer position plays a key role in technical design and communication of consulting services. This role oversees other Structural/Civil Engineers in the execution and communication of design and consultation services.
Key Responsibilities
1. Mentor a professional team with demonstrable experience.
2. Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulations.
3. Analyze and interpret complex activities and/or information to improve existing practices and/or develop new approaches.
In this role, you will oversee the work of junior engineers and provide guidance on technical matters. You will also be responsible for developing and implementing processes, policies and procedures with skill.

This is a senior engineering role that requires strong leadership skills and the ability to support and mentor employees to carry out tasks efficiently and effectively.
Requirements
1. Demonstrated eligibility for registration with Engineers Australia within the Structural and Civil areas of practice in the Occupational Category of Professional Engineer grade Member.
2. Registration on the National Engineers Register.
3. Compliance with the Professional Engineers Registration Act 2019 (Vic).
Essential Skills and Qualifications
1. A minimum of three years' experience in a similar role, with significant expertise in structural and civil engineering.
2. Excellent interpersonal skills, including written and verbal communication and corresponding with a broad range of people.
3. A strong client service focus with the ability to formulate suitable outcomes where appropriate.
4. Demonstrated problem-solving and critical thinking skills, and initiative to make decisions.
5. Strong planning and organisational skills to effectively manage work, determine priorities and meet deadlines.
