You'll work closely with experienced Consultants, Visiting Specialists, and a collaborative multidisciplinary team while gaining exposure to diverse surgical cases.
What You'll Be Doing
* Manage and oversee the care of surgical patients
* Provide safe and effective clinical handovers
* Escalate concerns to consultants where required
* Coordinate discharge planning and prepare clear discharge summaries
* Maintain accurate records via the Electronic Medical Record system
* Contribute to teaching, research, and continuous quality improvement
What we're looking for
* MBBS (or equivalent) with current AHPRA registration
* Postgraduate medical experience with procedural competency
* Strong problem-solving and clinical decision-making skills
* Excellent teamwork, communication, and interpersonal skills
