Sea West WA Pty Ltd (sea-) is an award winning marine tour operator, who owns tour brands Mandurah Cruises and Rottnest Cruises.
We are looking for a marine tourism Master <24m NC/ MED 2, who will work mainly in MANDURAH (& possibly ROTTNEST depending on experience), to join our incredible 35-strong team.
The job is casual but we can offer full time hours. It is a combination of day and evening shifts (December only), with the evening shifts in December incurring a 20% uplift in hourly rate.

Mandurah is home to our famous dolphin tour, premium lobster catch and cook tours, tranquil river lunch cruises, kitsch-cool eco BBQ boats, and sunset cruises with panoramic views: one of the most diverse collection of marine experiences in the country.
Rottnest is home to our epic lobster catch and cook lobster cruise, loved by all who come on board and truly showcasing a totally Western Australian experience.

What You'll Be Doing:
Providing guests with a safe, memorable, and enjoyable cruises.
Operating charter vessels for tourism and recreational experiences.
Navigating some of WA's most iconic coastal waters.
What We're Looking For:
Master 5 / MED 2 qualification. We have 5 * Master 5 vessels, and you would need to be able to operate all of them, up to our 21m charter vessel, Crusader 3, which operates at Rottnest. (For more on our boats, visit sea-)
Some engineering skills - able to diagnose and conduct minor maintenance
An extremely strong safety focus.
Customer-friendly attitude with a track record of working as part of a team: you will work alongside Tour Guides, other skippers.
Attention to detail - we are looking for Captain who can take accountability for boat presentation, minor maintenance and tour delivery based on pre existing set standards.
Access to own transport.
MUST be comfortable to have bulk of work in Mandurah.
Some tourism experience preferred (but not essential).
Good References - we will check references and would need recent referees.
