AG Security Group is South Australia's largest privately owned security organisation, protecting Australians for over 34 years. Due to continued growth and newly secured long-term contracts, we're seeking a motivated Assistant Accountant to join our Adelaide-based team.
About the Role
This is a hands-on, varied role supporting the finance function across multiple entities.
Key responsibilities include:
* Month-end processing, journals, accruals and prepayments
* Balance sheet reconciliations and fixed assets
* Preparation of financial statements
* End-to-end payroll processing and payroll compliance
* Payroll tax, child support and RTWSA
* Assist with BAS preparation
* Accounts receivable invoicing and debt collection
* Managing customer queries
* Weekly reception lunch cover and phone answering
About You
* Minimum 5 years' experience as an Assistant Accountant or similar finance role
* Strong payroll and accounting knowledge
* High attention to detail and excellent time management skills
* Confident communication and professional phone manner
* Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn
