McCormack Engineering is a family-owned business that has been servicing the Darling Downs for over 35 years.
We are expanding our range of Chaser Bins and other agricultural, construction and mining equipment and we require a motivated, committed, independent boiler maker to join our team.
This is a full-time position offering competitive wages and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects.
The successful candidate will be responsible for the fabrication and, at times, the assembly of equipment.
Key Responsibilities
Fabricate steel components according to engineering drawings and specifications.
Read and interpret engineering drawings.
Perform various cutting and welding processes, predominantly MIG welding of steel.
Operate fabrication machinery such as saws, guillotines, press brakes, etc.
Assemble equipment.
Conduct quality checks and inspections on completed work to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Maintain a safe and clean work environment, adhering to all WHS policies and procedures.
Qualifications and Experience
Trade-qualified Boilermaker desirable but not essential; experienced welders considered.
Proven experience in a fabrication workshop or industrial environment.
Proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings.
