About the role

Pearla and co' is seeking talented Chefs of all levels to join our team in our North Fremantle for a new venue opening in late November. In particular the roles of sous chef, CDPs and casual chefs to start and be part of something special in Perth. Focusing on local Seafood and vegetables prepared in a beautiful location.

Led by Scott Bridger and a team of professionals, Pearla will be a place of shared passion, beautiful produce and team first culture.

What you'll be doing

1. Cooking the freshest Seafood in Australia and be part of dry aging fish programme
2. Contributing to weekly menu changes and creative conversations with seasonal produce and future planning
3. Cooking in sections ranging from the grill/ Hibachi to larder, pastry and raw oyster bar.
4. Aspects of ordering and managing other chefs.
5. Managing seafood in a respectful and professional manner
6. Al la carte cooking and preparing plated food in a professional enviroment

What we're looking for

1. Good attitude first.
2. Strong knowledge of seafood preparation and or willing to learn
3. Clear communication with positivity and growth in mind
4. Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced professional environment
5. Excellent communication and teamwork skills
6. Creativity and a passion for creating food with purpose and
7. Experience in a reputable modern style venue
8. Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including, nights, weekends and public holidays
9. Minimum of 3+ years professional kitchen experience required
10. Australian work rights required
