**What is the role on offer?**
Carers Collective is seeking passionate and dedicated **Support Workers** to join our team in Caboolture. As a part-time Support Worker, you will play a vital role in providing personalised care and support to our participant, helping them to live independently and engage with their local community.
**What does a typical shift look like?**
To be honest, a typical day does depend on our participants and the type of support they need which could vary, as we always want to be sure their care is person-centered support.
- Assisting participants with daily living activities such as personal care, meal preparation, and light housekeeping
- Providing behaviour supports
- Providing companionship and emotional support to participants, engaging them in social and recreational activities
- Advocating for participant needs and preferences, and collaborating with the wider care team to ensure a holistic approach
- Maintaining accurate records and documentation in line with industry standards and company policies
**What we're looking for**

- A Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification in Aged Care, Disability, or Community Services
- Previous experience in a similar support worker or care assistant role, preferably within the aged care or disability sectors
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport and empathise with clients
- A genuine passion for making a positive difference in the lives of others and a commitment to person-centred care
- The ability to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team environment
- A current First Aid including CPR certificate
- A current driver's licence and access to reliable transportation
