We encourage innovation and collaboration, aiming to unlock your potential and offer career opportunities beyond expectations.Location : Carrapateena, South Australia (60-minute flight from Adelaide / 30-minute flight from Port Augusta)Roster : 4 : 3, 4 : 3, 8 : 6Department : ProcessingEmployment : PermanentThe Production Superintendent is responsible for leading the operations team to safely achieve production targets for the process plant, focusing on building and managing a high-performing supervisor leadership group.In The Role You Will :Manage workforce resourcing, recruitment, and performance to meet operational plans.Promote a strong safety culture through transparent communication, hazard reporting, and incident management.Lead safety investigations and develop skills in incident investigation at all levels.Develop and implement operational plans, including isolations, mill relines, and safety systems.Ensure adherence to daily and weekly operational plans for production and logistics.Support compliance with site, company, and legal standards.Review and approve training frameworks and documentation for operational responsibilities.Implement improvement projects focused on safety, cost reduction, and revenue enhancement.Support tailings storage facility operations, ensuring compliance with manuals.Participate in planning and organizing fixed plant maintenance shutdowns.About You :Extensive operational experience in mineral processing plants with supervisory experience.Experience with base metal concentrator plants, including flotation.Strong safety leadership skills, including incident investigation facilitation.Experience in recruitment and developing technician and supervisor staff.Budget management experience for operating costs and capital expenditure.Experience developing training documentation and systems.Ability to lead process improvement projects and foster innovation.Experience in production planning and shutdown planning.Supervision of execution plans for plant shutdowns and isolations.Experience with surface mobile equipment and tailings management is advantageous.About Our Process :We are committed to employing individuals aligned with our values and meeting role requirements, including various background checks as part of the recruitment process.Supporting a Diverse Workforce :We offer competitive salaries, performance bonuses, share programs, flexible working, parental leave, and inclusive policies to support our diverse workforce.
