About the role
As a Concrete Line Pump Operator at Engel Constructions Pty Ltd, you will play a vital role in efficiently Pumping concrete on sites across Melbourne and Gippsland. This full-time position is responsible for the operation and maintenance of a concrete line pump, ensuring projects are completed on time and to the highest standards.
What you'll be doing
1. Safely operate and maintain concrete line pumps on active construction sites
2. Ensure efficient and accurate concrete placement to meet project timelines and specifications
3. Perform routine equipment checks and maintenance to maximise uptime and reliability
4. Work closely with concreters to coordinate concrete delivery and placement
5. Identify and resolve any issues or blockages in the concrete line in a timely manner
6. Adhere to all health, safety and environmental regulations on site
What we're looking for
1. Previous experience as a Concrete Line Pump Operator
2. Proficient in the operation and maintenance of concrete line pumps and associated equipment
3. Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills to quickly address any challenges on site
4. Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards
5. Ability to work effectively as part of a team and collaborate with the wider construction crew
6. Valid MR driver's license or higher and red/white card, will be able to assist with the upgrade to a MR license for the right candidate
