Trinity values the strong connections between our students, our OTGs and the wider school community. As a Music Walker, you'll foster these relationships while providing a valuable safety service—escorting Junior School students to and from Instrumental Music lessons and Ensemble rehearsals safely and on time across campus (including navigating signalled intersections and other risks). This flexible casual role is well‑suited to current tertiary students seeking part‑time work.
What you'll do
* Escort students safely and punctually to and from Instrumental Music lessons and Ensemble rehearsals.
* Assist with set‑up and pack‑down of rehearsal, classroom, and performance spaces.
* Help with equipment preparation and transport as required.
* Act as stage assistant at School concerts and events when needed.
* Support the Music Office with administrative tasks (e.g. photocopying, library maintenance, resource organisation).
* Undertake training to ensure safe, compliant student supervision and work practices.
* Work to a roster based on your availability, with the possibility of redeployment to assist other areas between escorting duties.
About you
* Familiarity with, or the willingness to quickly learn, the music program at Trinity Grammar School, Kew.
* Patient, caring and compassionate, with excellent interpersonal skills and emotional intelligence.
* Reliable and professional, embodying the School's values through conduct, performance and collegiality.
* Excellent time management and attention to detail—ensuring students arrive on time is critical.
* A proactive team member who builds positive relationships with colleagues, students and families.
Who you'll work with
You'll be part of the Music team and collaborate closely with the Music Administrator (your direct manager), the PA to the Director of Music, Heads of Instrumental Department, the Head of Music Curriculum, and the Director of Music.
