About the Role
Tronox is seeking an enthusiastic and driven HR Officer to join our local HR team supporting our Eastern Operations (EOPS) in the Murray Basin (VIC/NSW) region on a full-time 12-month Max Term contract. This position is based at the Atlas mine site, a 3‐hour drive from Mildura or a 4‐hour drive from Central Victoria. The role is predominantly site‐based but also supports the Broken Hill Processing Plant, with travel as required.
Key Responsibilities
* Coordinate day‐to‐day administration tasks.
* Manage and maintain all employee data within the HRIS.
* Coordinate employee and position variations.
* Coordinate monthly HR reporting and track HR costs.
* Support routine employee HR queries and direct more complex matters to the HR team.
* Coordinate with Payroll on all employee changes.
* Assist with new‐starter onboarding activities.
Qualifications & Requirements
* Completed degree/diploma or currently studying in Human Resources, Business or a related discipline (highly regarded).
* Advanced proficiency in computer systems including Microsoft Office 365 applications.
* Experience administering and maintaining large volumes of data.
* Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
* Adaptable and able to work in a high‐volume role as part of a team.
* Customer‐focused and always looking for new ways to drive efficiencies.
* Comfortable handling sensitive information with discretion and confidentiality.
* Ideally experience in a Human Resources administration position.
