Cafe Manager, Waiter (Food and Beverage Attendant)

* Manager: $75,000 to $80,000
* Waiter: $65,000 to $70,000
Task & Responsibilities
Manager:
* Manage and control the day to day operations of the Cafe.
* Plan and design menus based on seasonal changes
* Oversee daily operations of the cafe
* Manage staff, including hiring and training
* Ensure quality customer service
* Monitor inventory and order supplies
* Develop and implement marketing strategies
* Maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards
* Manage stock, order supplies
* Ensure profitability of kitchen
Waiter:
* Setting and arranging tables;
* Taking reservations, greeting customers and presenting them with menus and beverage lists;
* Recommending dishes and wines to complement food
* Taking orders and relaying them to kitchen and bar staff;
* Serving food and beverages;
* Opening bottles and pouring beverages including mixing liquor and assisting in the cellar;
* Clearing tables and returning dishes and cutlery to the kitchen;
* Removing empty bottles and used glasses from tables, and refilling and replacing glasses;
* Collecting payments for sales and operating point of sales machines and cash registers.
Qualification & Experience
Manager:
* Associate Degree, Advanced Diploma or Diploma (hospitality or business)
* 1 year experience in a managerial role
* Strong leadership and communication skills
* Knowledge of food safety regulations
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Waiter:
* Certificate III in Hospitality (Restaurant Front of House), or equivalent qualification as assessed by a Registered Training Organisation (RTO) AND at least 12 months relevant work experience
OR
* At least 18 months' relevant work experience in Australia on a temporary visa.
OR
* At least two (2) years' relevant experience .
