 
        
        As a Graduate Mechanical Engineer, you will play a key role in supporting the development and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives for mechanical systems across multiple Defence estates. This challenging role provides exposure to critical infrastructure planning and asset lifecycle management, including hazardous materials assessment and compliance with Defence standards and statutory regulations.
About the Role
You will work closely with senior engineers to contribute to strategic documentation, system reviews, and cross-functional coordination in large-scale high-compliance environments.
What You Will Do
 * Support the engineering asset management team in developing and implementing plans for the maintenance and upgrade of mechanical systems.
 * Contribute to the development of strategic documents, such as system reviews and compliance reports.
 * Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to coordinate large-scale projects and ensure compliance with Defence standards and regulations.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you will need:
 * Completed a Bachelor of Mechanical Engineering from a recognised university within the last 3 years (or currently completing this year).
 * Be available to work full-time in February for the duration of the 2-year program.
 * Hold a valid driver's licence.
 * Australian Citizenship and the ability to maintain Defence Security Clearance.
 * Effective communication and teamwork capabilities.
 * Willingness to learn and adapt to working in regulated Defence infrastructure environments.
