About the Role:
* Support the daily kitchen operations, working closely with the Sous Chef and Head Chef to ensure high-quality food preparation and service across all food and beverage outlets.
* Supervise and coordinate the preparation and production of hot and cold food items, managing your kitchen section with attention to detail in plating, portioning, and presentation.
* Lead and support the culinary team during service periods, fostering teamwork and efficient kitchen workflow.
* Assist in planning food quantities, menu execution, and the introduction of new culinary ideas to keep our offerings fresh and exciting.
* Maintain exceptional standards of cleanliness, hygiene, food safety, and compliance with Work Health and Safety, HACCP, and other regulatory requirements.
* Ensure all dishes are prepared and presented to exceed guest expectations, delivering memorable experiences through quality and consistency.
* Contribute actively to event preparation and execution, demonstrating creativity, passion, and professionalism at all times.
About You
* A strong work ethic with high levels of personal standards and a desire to deliver a fantastic product every time
* Trade Qualified with strong HACCP knowledge
* Extensive previous experience in a fine-dining environment either within Australia or Internationally
* The ability to work under pressure
* Talented and creative with high levels of personal motivation and drive
* Excellent communication skills and be a true team player
* Flexible approach to working hours and shifts
