Job Description
Location: Geraldton Port
Roster: 7 Days, 7 Off, 7 Nights, 7 Off
Hourly Rate: $66.50 per hour + Superannuation + Company Bonus
Type: Full-time Permanent
We are seeking a suitably experienced Fixed Plant Fitter to join our Newhaul Port Logistics team on a permanent, full-time basis working 12-hour shifts on a even time roster.
Key Duties & Responsibilities:
* Routine maintenance and repairs for fixed plant equipment to ensure continuous operation.
* Breakdown response and fault diagnosis to minimise downtime at the Port, including responding to trailer tipping issues.
* Component replacements and mechanical adjustments to improve plant efficiency.
* Preventative maintenance to extend equipment life and reduce failures.
* Collaboration with boilermakers and electricians on major repairs and infrastructure upgrades.
Qualifications
* Current C Class Drivers Licence
* Australian recognised Trade Certificate
