RAAFA has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Marketing and Communications Manager to join our team on a 12-month, fixed term contract. This pivotal role will see you lead a established team of professionals and work closely with our Chief Customer & Community Officer to spearhead the development and execution of comprehensive marketing, communication, and public relations strategies to enhance the company's image and reputation.

About the role:
As the Marketing and Communications Manager, you will collaborate with cross‑functional teams, manage marketing campaigns, and leverage various communication channels to engage our target audiences, increase brand awareness, and drive business growth.
* Develop and implement strategic marketing plans to achieve business objectives.
* Conduct market research to identify trends, opportunities, and threats in the industry.
* Analyse consumer trends, market conditions, and competitor data to identify opportunities for growth.
* Enhance and maintain the company's brand identity across all marketing and communication channels.
* Develop and implement strategies to position the company as a leader in the industry.
* Ensure consistent messaging and branding across all marketing materials and platforms.
* Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO, SEM, e‑mail marketing, and social media campaigns.
* Analyse digital marketing data to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and optimise strategies accordingly.
* Build and maintain relationships with media outlets, journalists, and influencers.
* Create and distribute press releases and other media communications to enhance the company's public image.
* Respond to media inquiries and coordinate media activity – directly and via a Public Relations agency.
* Develop internal communication strategies to keep employees, volunteers, residents, their families and members informed about company initiatives, goals, and achievements. Foster a positive and informed company culture through effective internal communication channels.
* Plan and coordinate marketing events, product/service launches, trade shows, and conferences.
* Collaborate within internal teams and external partners to ensure successful event execution.
* Ensure our CRM is effectively leveraged.
About you:
* Bachelor of Marketing and Communications or equivalent qualification.
* Demonstrated experience in a Marketing and Communication Manager role.
* Strong leadership skills with experience in working with cross‑functional teams.
* Demonstrated knowledge of digital marketing strategies and tools.
