Job Overview
* Responsible for providing ground maintenance services and ensuring safe and efficient operations of gardening equipment and machinery to maintain client landscaped grounds according to site schedule and specifications.
* Main tasks include chemical spraying, pulling weeds and clearing areas of debris, using various spraying equipment like backpack sprayer, knapsack sprayer and motorized spraying equipment, placing temporary warning signs when required.
* Tasks must be carried out in a manner that causes minimal inconvenience to customers, staff and the general public.
* Operate equipment and machinery in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and Standard Operating Procedures.
* Report any maintenance and repair issues to the area supervisor.
* Understand and adhere to quality, safety, health and environmental policies.
* Follow written instructions, verbal direction and procedures to perform work duties.
