Marcel Pacific is a Defence focused small business, producing autonomous maritime platforms.
As we expand, a new position has been created to manage the business administration requirements, which were previously shared between the Director and Operations Manager.
As the Business Operations Manager (BOM) you will initially be expected to manage all the duties of this position, however as we expand, you will recruit and train additional junior business staff to meet the growing needs of the company.
Responsibilities
* The Business Operations Manager is responsible for corporate governance, security compliance, financial oversight, human resources management, and risk management across the organisation.
* This role separates corporate and compliance responsibilities from field operations, ensuring Marcel Pacific meets its obligations under DISP, AGSVA, Defence contracts, and Australian regulatory frameworks while enabling operational teams to focus on delivery.
* This position reports to the Managing Director, COO or their representative.
