* $70,000 - $75,000 + super (depending on the level of experience)
THE ROLE
Our client is a reputable Australian law firm providing a comprehensive range of legal services to both government and private sector organisations.
They are currently seeking an enthusiastic and detail-focused Finance Administration Assistant to join their dynamic team and provide high-quality financial and administrative support.
DUTIES
* Assist with the processing and entry of EFT payments across general and trust accounts.
* Support the maintenance of the firm's creditor records and payment runs.
* Assist with the retrieval of items from safe custody in the absence of the Debt Recovery & Safe Custody Assistant.
* Issue receipts for both general and trust accounts in a timely and accurate manner.
* Provide backup support to other members of the accounts team during periods of absence or peak workload.
REQUIRED SKILLS
* Able to work independently with minimal supervision while maintaining accuracy and efficiency.
* Proficient in Microsoft Word and Outlook, with the ability to quickly learn new systems and case management software.
* Strong reading and numeracy skills with good understanding of workplace policies and procedures.
* Knowledge of or experience in legal accounting, with ability to learn relevant regulations, systems, and compliance requirements.
