The Federal Government Pursuit Sales lead is responsible for driving strategic revenue growth within the Federal Government sector by originating, shaping, and closing large-scale transformation opportunities.
This role focuses on strategic sales growth, engaging senior executives to align DXC's technology capabilities with agency's long-term business and digital & transformation agendas.
With an expansive Federal Government network over 15+ years you are known as a strategic advisor who "opens doors" and identifying potential stakeholders and creating new opportunities for DXC. The position leads complex pursuits from early opportunity identification through to deal closure, orchestrating cross-functional teams to create differentiated value propositions and deliver sustainable growth for DXC.
Key Responsibilities
Strategic Market Development
* Develop and execute a strategic sales plan for the Fed Gov't sector across Australia.
* Identify high-value transformation opportunities in areas such as digital banking, core modernization, cloud, data, and AI.
* Drive proactive opportunity creation through industry insights and strategic client engagement.
Executive Relationship Leadership
* Build and maintain C-suite relationships across banking institutions including CIOs, CTOs, CDOs, and business leaders.
* Position DXC as a trusted advisor and transformation partner.
* Lead executive discussions on technology strategy, operational transformation, and innovation.
Strategic Deal Origination & Pursuit
* Originate and lead large, multi-year transformation deals within the Federal Gov't sector.
* Shape opportunities early by influencing client strategy and solution direction.
* Develop win strategies, competitive positioning, and deal structures to maximize probability of success.
* Lead the full pursuit lifecycle including qualification, solution strategy, commercial structuring, and negotiation.
* Build and maintain a robust pipeline of strategic opportunities aligned with DXC's Federal growth priorities.
* Deliver against revenue, booking, and margin targets.
* Expand footprint within existing banking clients while identifying new logo opportunities.
Cross-Functional Leadership
* Lead integrated teams including sales, solution architects, consulting, delivery, and alliance partners.
* Ensure alignment between client strategy, technical solution design, and commercial value proposition.
* Drive collaboration across global DXC capabilities to deliver differentiated solutions.
