The Agricultural Manufacturing Planning Lead is responsible for the master production scheduling and the allocation of raw material, work in process, excess & obsolete inventory.
This position is a key driver in ensuring adequate inventory is available to deploy in fulfilment of customer demand, while minimizing distressed product risks. The role will ensure that future supply volume schedules are fully supported by assumptions based upon demonstrated performance and capabilities.
You will act as the conduit between Supply, Operations and Demand for requests and changes to demand and supply for McCain Australia and New Zealand.
**About the role**
- Facilitate monthly supply planning meetings in line with the IBP (integrated business planning) calendar
- Coordinate communications on managing the supply plan for all products in the assigned plant with internal stakeholder
- Identify optimal options to resolve Change Requests and Past Due production and materials from the previous week
- Facilitate and support communication from Production Schedulers and Materials Planners as required or escalated
- Report on performance metrics and trends with root causes and corrective actions
- Prepare and collate the forecast based on current and forward production plans to the suppliers
**About you**
- Tertiary qualification/s in Project Management, Engineering, Supply Chain or related fields
- Advanced analytical skills and a high level of attention to detail with confidence in decision-making
- Ability to connect with stakeholders at all levels, both internal and external, to drive and influence outcomes
- Advanced skills in MS Excel and working knowledge of SAP/APO & Power BI
- Exceptional interpersonal skills and problem-solving capabilities
