GHD Graduate Program 2026 - Graduate Acoustics Engineer/Consultant - Newcastle

Our two-year Graduate Development Program is designed to give you a smooth start to your consulting career. We’re looking for graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics or Environmental Science (or similar discipline) with an interest in acoustic and noise vibration to join our Northern NSW Environmental Approvals, Air & Noise team in Newcastle.
Responsibilities
- Conducting short and long-term noise and vibration monitoring, including compliance assessments.
- Preparing noise and vibration impact assessments for construction and operational activities.
- Supporting the development and implementation of Noise and Vibration Management Plans.
- Assisting with the preparation of tenders and proposals for upcoming projects.
- Connecting with a broader team of professionals to share insights, build knowledge, and grow technical capability.
Qualifications
- Graduates or soon-to-be graduates in Mechanical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Physics or Environmental Science (or similar discipline).
- Interest in acoustic and noise vibration work.
