Philanthropy & Fundraising Lead
Salary Range of $95,000 - $105,000 + Super.
Up to $18,900 salary packaging.
We offer Hybrid & Office based options for this role.

About Lifeline Loddon Mallee
Our purpose is to provide a lifeline to those in distress, in the Loddon Mallee through a range of crisis and suicide prevention services that strengthen our community and offer hope. We're working towards our vision of a suicide-free Australia. At Lifeline Loddon Mallee we focus primarily on crisis support services, education, and training so that we can make a powerful impact within our community and ultimately ensure that no one in our region has to feel hopeless or alone.
Our organisation focuses on supporting the development and ongoing implementation of suicide prevention and community wellbeing programs in the regions in which we operate, while looking for opportunities to grow Lifeline's services that do not currently exist.

As we implement our ambitious new strategic plan, we're seeking an experienced and dynamic Philanthropy & Fundraising Lead to lead our income generation and donor engagement efforts. This pivotal role will oversee the planning, execution and evaluation of a comprehensive fundraising plan, with particular focus on:
Donor stewardship and major gifts
Individual giving campaigns
Philanthropy opportunities and gifts in wills
Team leadership and campaign management
Reporting directly to the CEO and working closely with the Business Team, this role is ideal for someone with strong relationship skills, a flair for storytelling and the confidence to lead and inspire a small but passionate fundraising team.
This role will form part of the leadership executive, who are required to:
oDeliver leadership in alignment with the organisation values, behaviours and leadership matrix.
oPromote a positive and inclusive culture throughout all levels of the organisation, through your own actions and reactions.
oMentor your direct reports to promote the culture.
oCreate a culture of philanthropy and adhere to the FIA code and best practice fundraising.
Key Selection Criteria
Essential:
A proven track record in fundraising, business development or philanthropy, with at least 3 years in a management or leadership role.
Demonstrated success in building donor relationships, securing significant gifts, and running regular giving and major donor programs.
Confident working with CRMs (salesforce desirable) and data to drive smarter decisions, experience with fundraising platforms is a bonus
A confident communicator, natural storyteller and persuasive pitch maker - equally at home in corporate meetings and community events.
Strong planning and project management skills with the ability to manage competing deadlines.
Good financial acumen, with a proven ability to develop and manage budgets.
Competent in producing consistent and regular reporting of fundraising activities.
Demonstrated experience managing a small team and leading collaborative delivery.
Flexible with the ability to attend some evening or weekend events.
Desirable:
Ability to plan, prioritise workloads, and meet deadlines as required
Demonstrated commitment to personal and professional development
Curious, eager to learn, and always up for a challenge (and a laugh).
