About the role Orion Laboratories t/a Evaris Pharma is looking for a talented individual to join our Production team as Supply Chain Analyst. In this role, you will be responsible for analysing, planning, and optimising end‐to‐end supply chain activities to ensure the uninterrupted, compliant, and cost‐effective supply of pharmaceutical products. This is a full‐time opportunity.
The position is based at our Manufacturing Facility in Balcatta (Western Australia). The salary range for this position is between $80,000 and $90,000 per annum. Job Description and main duties: This hybrid role combines production planning and material planning responsibilities with advanced supply chain analytics, performance reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
The position supports demand fulfilment by translating forecasts into executable production and material plans, maintaining ERP master data integrity, and providing data‐driven insights to improve service levels, inventory performance, and manufacturing efficiency within a GMP‐regulated environment.
Key Responsibilities: Production & Capacity Planning
* Develop and maintain the Master Production Schedule (MPS) aligned with forecasted and confirmed demand.
* Convert demand signals into weekly and daily production plans.
* Analyse production capacity, constraints, and bottlenecks, proposing mitigation strategies.
* Liaise with Manufacturing, Quality, Engineering, and Packaging teams to ensure plan feasibility and GMP compliance
* Monitor schedule adherence and adjust plans proactively.
* Release and manage production jobs within the ERP system.
Material Planning & Inventory Management
* Execute MRP to ensure timely availability of raw materials and packaging components.
* Review MRP outputs and collaborate with Procurement on shortages and critical items.
* Optimise inventory levels, safety stocks, and lead times.
* Support NPIs, validation batches, and demand changes.
* Identify and mitigate material supply risks.
Supply Chain Analytics & Reporting
* Develop and analyse supply chain KPIs and dashboards.
* Provide data‐driven insights to support S&OP and management decisions.
* Perform root‐cause analysis of supply disruptions.
ERP Master Data & Governance
* Maintain BOMs, routings, recipes, and planning parameters.
* Ensure GMP‐compliant data integrity.
* Support ERP upgrades and audits.
Skills, Qualifications and Experience required:
* Completed secondary education with proficiency in Mathematics and Science.
* APICS CPIM / CSCP desirable.
* GMP and ERP training desirable.
* Strong knowledge of GMP / GDP and pharmaceutical manufacturing.
* Experience with SAP, Epicor or similar ERP systems.
* 4-6+ years in supply chain or production planning roles.
* Advanced Excel and analytical skills.
* Strong communication and stakeholder engagement.
