This role offers the opportunity to make a real difference across diverse workplace settings, delivering proactive, people-centred support where it matters most.Shift: 4 hours every second Wednesday, a focused opportunity to champion mental health in dynamic workplace settingsResponsibilitiesDelivering short-term, solution-focused mental health coaching and 1:1 counselling via face-to-face, telehealth, and blended modalitiesProactive "walking the floor" and wellbeing check-ins to engage employees and build rapportFacilitating toolbox talks and manager peer support to drive early engagementSupporting employees with personal and workplace challenges using solution-focused approachesDeveloping and documenting tailored support plans and facilitating warm referrals to GPs, EAPs, or specialist servicesLeading group education sessions on resilience, emotional intelligence, mindfulness, stress and change management, and psychosocial riskCollaborating with Onsite Injury Prevention Specialists and other key stakeholders to deliver integrated, client-focused careWhat We're Looking For / QualificationsRelevant qualifications in and current registration with PACFA (Level 3+), ACA (Level 3+), AHPRA, or AASW3+ years' experience in short-term counselling, mental health coaching, or similar brief intervention supportSkilled group facilitator or presenter, with excellent time management and communication strengthsProven ability to engage confidently across a range of workplace settings, industries, and client groupsSolid understanding of common workplace mental health challenges and psychosocial risk factorsComfortable working independently and adapting to different onsite environmentsAbout UsThe Occ Health Group, comprising Bodycare, Healthworks, MOHR, BodycareNZ & Tangible Health, has been a leader in occupational health and employee wellbeing across Australia and New Zealand since ****.Drawing on over two decades of expertise, we deliver tailored solutions in injury prevention, occupational health and safety consulting, comprehensive workplace health services, and integrated wellbeing programs.
