Job Overview
This role reports to Nightlife Security Department supervisors and managers, providing basic security coverage for the safety of patrons and team members. Safeguards assets and promotes a friendly guest-oriented demeanor at all times.
Key Responsibilities
* Ensure nightclub security during money transfers within the casino and hotel areas.
* Assist patrons with inquiries and situations, including property information, directions, and escorting when necessary.
* Prepare detailed incident reports in a clear manner.
* Patrol hotel and casino areas to maintain a security presence and report unusual situations or suspicious persons.
* Assist in emergency situation coordination and resolution.
* Maintain proper key control.
* Support responsible gaming and alcohol service by notifying managers of concerns and observations.
* Embody the Company's Mission and Values through actions and behaviors.
* Notify managers or the Ethics Hotline of observed illegal acts or internal ethics violations.
Required Qualifications
A high school diploma or equivalent is required, along with a minimum of one year of comparable experience. Prior customer service experience is essential, and law enforcement or military experience is highly preferred.
Work Environment:
* The employee frequently stands, walks, uses hands, reaches, talks, and tastes/smells while performing duties. Lifting/moving up to 50 pounds is also required.
* Specific vision abilities include close, distance, color, peripheral vision, depth perception, and focus adjustment.
* The work environment is hectic, fast-paced, and often crowded/noisy, exposing employees to second-hand smoke, excessive noise, and general public exposure.
* Effective communication with guests in English is essential for this position.
