Overview
Bowral & District Hospital is seeking passionate and dedicated Enrolled Nurses to join our inpatient unit. Responsibilities
* Provide safe, compassionate, person‐centred nursing care under the supervision of a Registered Nurse or Midwife
* Contribute to evidence‐based and culturally appropriate care to achieve quality patient outcomes
* Work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary health‐care team
* Communicate effectively with patients, carers, and colleagues to ensure coordinated and safe care
* Actively participate in professional development, reflective practice, and support of others
Qualifications
* Demonstrated competence in delivering safe, quality, person‐centred nursing care in an inpatient or acute care setting
* Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively with patients, carers, and multidisciplinary teams
* Commitment to cultural safety, ethical practice, and maintaining patient confidentiality
* Willingness to take responsibility for clinical practice, critical reflection, and ongoing professional development
* Ability to uphold legislation, professional standards, the Enrolled Nurse Standards for Practice, and model NSW Health CORE Values and Transforming Your Experience behaviours
Selection Criteria
* Current Authority to Practice as an Enrolled Nurse with Australian Health Practitioners Regulation Agency (AHPRA).
* Demonstrated recent experience as an Enrolled Nurse in an environment appropriate to the relevant speciality.
* Demonstrated ability to provide safe, compassionate, quality care that is culturally responsive.
* Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate and engage with patients/consumers, carers and the multidisciplinary health‐care team to identify and ensure responsiveness of care needs.
* Demonstrated capacity to interact with others in a personable and professional manner and personally resolve conflicts when they arise.
* Demonstrated evidence of the use of critical thinking as it relates to the delivery of evidence‐based nursing care.
* Demonstrated understanding and participation in risk management, work health and safety and quality improvement in the workplace.
