About the role
Reporting to the Financial Controller, you’ll be part of a small, supportive team where you can put your skills and experience into practice. This is a hands-on and diverse role, supporting internal stakeholders with timely and efficient ordering, receiving, storing and logistics requirements. You’ll be liaising with internal and external stakeholders on a daily basis, you’ll need well developed interpersonal and communication skills.
Key responsibilities include:
- Ordering, receiving, quality-checking deliveries and storage duties
- Verifying deliveries against purchase orders and invoices
- Assisting with maintenance of the inventory management system
- Monitoring and maintaining stock levels and stock rotation
- Assisting with regular stocktakes
- Assisting with the management of incoming and outgoing conference materials
- Manual handling and moving moderately heavy items
- Maintaining a clean, organised and safe working environment
- Assisting with ad hoc tasks as needed
About you
We’re looking for someone with the motivation and strong work ethic, who can bring their skills and outstanding attitude to compliment the role, within our dynamic hotel environment.
Ideally, you’ll have:
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Understanding of and prior experience with operating inventory management systems
· Proficiency with Microsoft Office, especially Excel
· Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
· The ability to plan, prioritise duties and meet deadlines
· Excellent interpersonal, communication, and customer service skills
· A collaborative approach, with the confidence to work independently
· A current forklift licence
