About the Role:
* Collaborate with a payroll vendor to ensure accurate and timely fortnightly payroll processing
* Respond to employee and manager queries regarding payroll, leave and benefits
* Assist with the preparation of year-end payroll reports and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements
* Identify risks and drive improvements in payroll processes
* Process complex terminations, back pays, salary increases, commission payments
* Ensure timesheets are processed by managers in a timely manner in line with payroll timelines
* Maintain and update payroll records, including employee details, leave balances, and pay adjustments
Skills and Experience:
* Previous payroll experience in a similar end-to-end role is essential
* Exposure to payroll and HR systems
* Experience with award interpretation is required
* In-depth understanding of payroll legislation and processes
* Exceptional communication skills with internal and external stakeholders
* Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines independently
