About the role:
We are seeking Multiskilled Carers to join our Residential Care teams at our facility at Juniper Korumup in Albany. We offer a range of flexible working options, including casual, part-time, and full-time opportunities.
As a Multiskilled Carer, you will support residents with their daily living, social, and emotional needs, delivering person-centred care that promotes dignity, respect, and independence. You will play an important role in enhancing residents’ well-being and quality of life, ensuring they feel welcome, valued, and supported.
Key Responsibilities:
* Provide personal care including assistance with hygiene, grooming, dressing, and mobility
* Support residents’ independence and participation in meaningful daily activities, promoting dignity and choice
* Assist with the safe administration of medication in accordance with Juniper policies and procedures
* Maintain accurate, timely documentation and communicate effectively with nursing, allied health, and management personnel
* Contribute to infection prevention and workplace health and safety practices
* Assist with mealtime support to ensure nutritional needs are met
* Foster a kind, respectful, and supportive environment that upholds Juniper’s values and the rights of residents
* Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to work across different sites and shifts, supporting continuity of care
Key Requirements
* Certificate III in Individual Support or Aged Care
* Experience working in an aged care setting as a carer
* Ability to relate to elderly customers with empathy and collaborate effectively with health professionals, service providers, and case managers
