We have partnered with an industry leading company in the Bioenergy space and have multiple opportunities for Mechanical Operators to join the company on full-time positions based in Sydney
**The Role**:
You will be responsible for operating and maintaining LMS’s power stations and all associated plant and equipment on a daily basis as well as monitoring and maintaining their biogas systems and flares. You will be placed on an on-call roster and regular travel to other sites within the state is required.
**Job Duties**:
- Undertake daily operation, maintenance, troubleshooting of engine(s), flare(s) and associated plant/equipment
- Monitor and maintain LMS biogas systems and flares, including biogas field work (i.e. well readings and minor pipeline repairs)
- Assist with start-up and shutdown of power station/generator module(s)
- Complete daily readings, data entry, data analysis, and reports
- Schedule servicing and maintenance of engine(s), flare(s) and associated plant/equipment
- Complete safety risk assessments, JSEA’s and associated paperwork
- Perform oil sampling and analysis of results
- Maintain cleanliness in work area, including bioenergy facility, and well stations
- Attend to call-outs promptly when on the roster
- Mechanical Fitter/Automotive (Heavy/Light Vehicle) Trade Qualification **(Essential)**:
- Australian/New Zealand Drivers Licence **(Essential)**:
- Fit & Healthy
- Current Vaccinations Record **(Essential)**:
- Prior experience working on Caterpillar & or Jaenbecar Engines **(Desirable)**:
