We're currently searching for a highly motivated passionate tourism and customer experience expert to join our Visitor Services Team.

About The Opportunity
We're seeking a vibrant, customer-focused Visitor Services Officer to join our team. Based at the Mildura Visitor Information Centre, you'll play a key role in promoting our region to visitors and locals alike. From creating engaging itineraries to curating retail displays and supporting digital marketing efforts, this role is perfect for someone who thrives in a fast-paced, people-first environment.

You'll be part of a team that's passionate about enhancing the visitor experience and growing our local tourism economy. Weekend work is part of the role, and you'll enjoy a varied schedule that keeps every day interesting.

What You Will Bring
Ideally the successful applicant will have the following:

* A genuine passion for the Mildura region and its tourism offerings.
* Qualifications in tourism, retail, or customer service—or relevant experience.
* Outstanding interpersonal skills and a warm, welcoming approach.
* Strong digital communication skills, including social media and online booking platforms.
* Visual merchandising experience and an eye for retail presentation.
* Ability to plan and prioritise workload, including weekend shifts.
* Intermediate computer skills (Word, Excel, Outlook, Internet).
* A current Police Check (or willingness to obtain) and a valid driver's licence.

Salary and conditions
The position is classified within
Band 4
of Council's Current Enterprise Agreement ranging from $35.73 to $38.21 per hour, plus statutory superannuation.
