About the role Temporary opportunity to provide multifaceted clinical pharmacy services to patients within Cancer Care Services at RBWH/North Lakes/Bribie Island/Caboolture/The Prince Charles Hospital (TPCH).
This position is based at RBWH with the requirement to work across all sites.
About you Our ideal candidate will be someone who can carry out the following key accountabilities in accordance with the Metro North Health's values: Undertake high level Pharmacy duties with infrequent need for direct clinical practice supervision.
Deliver high level clinical pharmacy, dispensary, and chemotherapy supply services within the Cancer Care Unit (with the ability to work at other Cancer Care sites across Metro North including but not limited to Herston, Caboolture, Bribie Island, TPCH and North Lakes Cancer Care in accordance with prescribed professional, legislative, and ethical standards.
Provide sound, high-level advice and assistance to clinical staff for evidence-based evaluation of new medicine therapies, and to professional and operational supervisors regarding service delivery.
Provide clinical practice supervision and clinical education to Pharmacy practitioners to ensure the maintenance of professional clinical standards within the Pharmacy service.
